What to Expect: We are woman owned therapy practice in Wheaton, Illinois, that specializes in trauma treatment and healing. We recognize that women are the primary caretakers that shoulder the burdens of their children, their partners, and their aging parents. And the mental health overwhelm is real. We know women put others first, and ourselves last, so our bodies and mind pay the price.
We specifically offer somatic interventions aimed at reducing chronic trauma responses in the body including auto-immune issues, (more than half of all auto-immune conditions affect women), EMDR, IFS, which all clinically support recovery from domestic violence, and healing from all types of abuse.
Additionally, we offer special support to parents! If your teen is being individually seen by one of our therapists, parents are invited to a part of the therapy process, meeting at regular intervals with their child's therapist. Parents can receive parent coaching for specific issues so parents become less isolated and can receive the support they desperately need.
