About the speaker, Carrie Summers, LCSW
Carrie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Stronger Therapeutic Counseling Services in Batavia and West Dundee.
Carrie has been providing psychotherapy at Stronger for the past three years supporting teens, college students, and new moms struggling with perfectionism, anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and navigating motherhood.
Carrie graduated from Aurora University in 2016 with a Master’s in Social Work and earned an ADHD specialization certificate in 2022.
As a new mother herself, Carrie's self-care and daily routines are always evolving.
Currently, she finds herself vacillating between learning and resting; to be mindful of the moments that motherhood brings while still feeding new and old passions that make her feel most herself. As Carrie is leaning into practicing more rest she is finding and feeling more passion and productivity as a result.
